Just read your kenhan fic and I know you're a huge johnshi fan- is there any other Kenshi ships you like? Or ones you find interesting?

ohhh... see this is a dangerous question bc i love kenshi and i love putting him in Situations...

although johnshi is a huge favorite, kenhan, kensuchin, kenlao, sonshi... and that's just mk1-

i will say i do also love kenshi/kuai liang subzero, or kenshi/hanzo hasashi scorpion, i've seen kenshi and kano and i think that could be really interesting, kenshi and mavado could be interesting too-

i also have a soft spot for kenshi and reptile, they're just The Guys in my heart...

i'd say top three other kenshi ships aside from johnshi would be kenlao, kenhan, and kensuchin, just because i like how different their dynamics are in my mind

you have kenlao which is a sort of bromance except the bros are getting caught making out in a closet- kenshi with such a temper and lao who knows how to stoke those flames but also knows when to help him come down, both of them helping each other and having this innate closeness thanks to surviving outworld together- kenshi stroking lao's ego but also knowing when to remind him of his limits in a way that isnt soul destroying...

then there's kenhan, which is putting two of the most stoic and (kind of, in kenshi's case-) bitter men of all time together and watching them soften each other out- kenshi helping bi han reunite his family and bi han helping kenshi free his family.. also just all of kenshi's family and him living on the lin kuei grounds makes me giggle idk i just love them- the two of them butting heads and arguing but it nevers gets rougher than raised voices bc even though they could both handle a brawl, it's a line they arent willing to cross with each other...

and kensuchin?? dont even play with me... kensuchin is so so soft in my mind... even though suchin in my mind is also one of the most dangerous people in all of japan (and honestly the world, i love her) she still is so so gentle with kenshi when they're given the space to be... they're also such a good pairing for tragedy and angst- one of them dying? getting stuck in bad deals with criminals together? constantly having to bail the other out of danger/trouble? nothing apart and destruction together? i mean the depression is endless if you think abt them hard enough- and dont even get me started abt how i think of them as t4t... i could go on abt that....

anyway 💀 that got long, but really i could put anyone in a room with kenshi and id find a way for them to make out, i wont lie- i just love him and i think so many different characters bring out different aspects of his personality and changes how he's comfortable... i could go on abt this for days aughrurhrh 💖

Hmm so for the 20th anniversary of this one how about a reboot of number 3. Dante and Becky and their daughter. Alive. (The end of 2 was so sweet I hated having that ripped away.) Randal becoming a better person instead of regressing. Maybe he gets together with Veronica. She would call him out on his bs. He could become an inadvertent father figure to her kids if she was divorced as in the existing clerks 3. Jay and Bob sober as in real life carrying on the arc of Clerks 2. They could still own a dispensary. Why not. Everyone still working and bored. Retail shenanigans. Dickhole customers. Elias and his boyfriend being out and proud. Oh maybe Elias and Randal. 💘 In that case, maybe Veronica is remarried… to snowball. 😂 and it turns out he’s a good parent.

And Veronica and Becky have become close friends through work or some other contrivance.

but most important of all, no one dies. Reality is sad enough. I guess I just wrote an outline for a fanfic.
